A certified Krav Maga instructor, SinaTirsaWali (STW) Kali Guru Instructor Candidate, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Mesa Carrier, Holly has been fundamental in creation of Luminous Warrior. As a Pillar to the Luminous Warrior Team, she has been working side-by-side with Sara since 2009.

Holly first met Sara in the role of a Krav Maga instructor in late 2007. Viewing Sara as a guide and mentor, she asked questions not only about self defense, but also about energy work and healing. Wanting to find out more about the integration of self defense with healing methods and how it could improve her life, Holly joined Sara’s Great Rites retreat in late 2008. This event led to big changes in her life, and enabled her to take action that aligned with her heart.

Having worked in the government for several years, Holly decided to pursue a new path so that she could engage her passion more fully. She courageously followed her inner guidance and enrolled at the Potomac Massage Therapy Institute (PMTI) in Washington, DC. She is now a Licensed Massage Therapist and sees clients regularly in her massage therapy practice.

Holly’s approach to Luminous Warrior is that everything is part of a whole—Self Defense, Kali, Movement, Massage and Shamanic Healing are all embodied ways to create ceremonies that help express and solve personal issues in a way that words cannot. Her vision is to create a safe space where individuals can be re-inspired by the wholeness and reverence of their bodies. Holly uses her hands as sacred tools to bring new life, new energy, and healing to tired and overworked bodies.

Holly is a living example of a Luminous Warrior who has the courage and heart needed to walk away from old patterns, and recreate a new story. As someone who overcame many internal and external obstacles, she has the gift of helping you engage in life in new and inspiring ways. She continues to train in self defense, movement, and healing modalities, and she is currently pursuing her Luminous Warrior Path of Power Certification.
