Do you want to make a difference in the world and inspire others the way Sabrina inspired Sara? The Sabrina Scholarship is for those who are being called to align with the Luminous Warrior Mission and fully commit their actions to help us build our community and achieve our goals. If you are passionate about using your talents and skills, then tell us what they are, make us an offer, and we’ll consider it! Each scholarship is given in Ayni.
About Sabrina:
Sabrina Curow Salam, Ph.D. is Sara’s older sister. She died in a tragic car accident in 2005 at the age of 33. It was then that Sara refocused her life and a seed was planted. Five years later, this seed manifested into the creation of Luminous Warrior. To honor Sabrina’s life and her Spirit, we offer the Sabrina Scholarship to those who want to make a difference in the world and inspire others the way Sabrina inspired Sara.
How to apply:
- Write an essay no longer than one page, single spaced that includes:
- Why you want to be part of Luminous Warrior?
- What you want to participate in (e.g., weekly classes, Shamanic Healing Programs, Warrior Bootcamps, retreats)?
- What you offer to us in Ayni (reciprocity) for being part of our community (e.g., numbers of hours per week you can contribute, a project you have in mind)?
- A brief description of financial need if applicable. Need will be considered by the Luminous Warrior team in a confidential manner at the time of review.
- Provide to us your current resumé.
- List 3 references (one professional, one character, one speaking to your proposed offering).

We suggest that you take time, away from distractions, to fully imagine what your passions are and how you can combine them to share with our community. The Sabrina Scholarship can encompass any aspect of what we offer (e.g. retreats, workshops, classes) and is not solely limited to membership exchange options. See what resonates with you and create a proposal that inspires you. Examples of Ayni exchanges can include:
