Weapons Defenses
Available for Krav Maga students in Level 3 and up
Our Weapons Defenses classes are intended for the more experienced practitioner. In other Luminous Warrior self defense classes, you get the opportunity to learn the fundamental techniques of addressing armed assault scenarios that include attacks with handguns, knives, blunt objects, edged weapons, and more, but in our Weapons Defenses class we take the training to a higher level as we focus exclusively on scenarios involving armed attackers. Combining tactics from Krav Maga, Kali, and other modalities, we work to enhance overall technique, engage in more complex scenarios, and provide deeper context on the tactics and strategies that can be utilized in defending and surviving an attack from armed assailants. In addition to the physical impact involved with defending against armed assaults, weapons defense class also addresses some of the mental and emotional factors relevant to weapons defense scenarios. You will leave our classes feeling empowered, strong and balanced.
You must be a Krav Maga student in Level 3 or up to participate in this class.
